December 21, 2023 - Shanghai, China - The strategic mobile RPG Arknights recently introduced a new Side Story event named Hortus de Escapismo. The Sanctilaminium Ambrosii, a mobile monastery jointly constructed by Iberia and Laterano in 1011, was once a blooming garden akin to a paradise from dreams. Tragically, during a disastrous Catastrophe, the monastery sought refuge and mistakenly ventured into the barrenlands, vanishing for six decades before reemerging. As Arturia's melodies filled the air, an unforeseen blaze consumed the holy chamber, intensifying existing racial tensions and mistrust to their breaking point. Once a bastion of equality and compassion, the monastery ultimately transformed into a Garden of Escapism. This update brings 3 new operators and 4 new outfits from 0011 Series and Test Collection.

About Hortus de Escapismo
The event is scheduled to run from 10:00 AM on December 21st, 2023 until 3:59 AM on January 11th, 2024(UTC-7). During this period, Doctors can engage in the “Hortus de Escapismo” event stages to progress through the “Secretae Continere”. Successfully navigating these challenges presents Doctors with chances to acquire primary prizes, including the five-star Operator Insider, and the exclusive Insider’s Token. Additional incentives include select pieces of the Ambulacrum Ambrosii furniture set, Recruitment Permits, Battle Records, and Elite Materials, among various other rewards.

Executor the Ex Foedere - 6 Star Reaper Guard
Saint Federico Giallo, also known as Executor, was the first non-Papal figure to be anointed as a Saint in Lateran history. His initial undertaking, assigned by Pope Yvangelista XI was retrieving the Sanctinamilum Ambrosii, the “Ambrosio Monastery”. When executing his attacks, he possesses the potential to strike twice in succession. The probability of a double strike escalates with each unit of ammunition expended during the activation period of his skill, which reverts to its base level upon the skill's termination.
Spuria - 5 Star Geek Specialist
Spuria, collaborating with Federico, was a member of the search-and-rescue team associated with the monastery. Her attacks have a probability of causing one of several outcomes: a double strike in place of a regular attack; the opponent being Temporarily Stunned; or the attack penetrating and disregarding a portion of the opponent's DEF. Moreover, thanks to her unique talent, "Differential Reloading Experiment," Spuria is capable of performing effectively as a reliable ranged DPS Operator.
Insider - 5 Star Marksman Sniper
The talent possessed by the Insider, known as “Fire Support”, has the capability to enhance this unit's ammunition capacity after he has been on the field for several seconds. Additionally, he randomly boosts the ammunition limit of one Laterano Operator's ability that relies on ammo.
