Creepy creatures lurk in the darkness

Immersed in a unique artistic visual, utilizing realistic pixel art and smooth animations, the player and Ana Lúcia will flirt with insanity to unravel what's happening in the chaotic reality that has taken over the girl's world.

With little information about what's going on, you must help her collect clues in her sketchbook and solve puzzles. To do this, be stealthy especially when exploring the most dangerous environments.

The various inhospitable scenarios of Asleep are not the only obstacles for Ana Lúcia; hideous creatures are also trying to hunt her, and with only a flashlight to light the way, she must be cunning to survive the enemies that are always lurking in the darkness. The safest place in these moments of panic might be her room, right? But for how long?

With a dense narrative and multiple choices along the way, your decisions can unfold into multiple endings.

Unique aesthetics and unsettling atmosphere

Regarding the scenarios of Asleep, Décio Oliveira, Game Developer and Designer at Black Hole Games studio, explains that the game handles well the alternation of its silent atmosphere, unfolding between clear and melancholic moments to darker and more macabre ones.

"The fog is a recurring feature of the game, and we like to use it to represent the emptiness and lack of memory of our protagonist. Additionally, at certain points, a kind of 'inverted world' takes over the setting, showing a more macabre version of the same place. This 'place' is known as Nowhere," he explains.

"Enigma do Medo" Easter egg hidden in Asleep

The most attentive explorers of Asleep may find throughout the four acts a collectible from "Enigma do Medo", as well as an iconic character from the universe of this game. So be alert while fleeing from the creatures of darkness! "Enigma do Medo" is a survival horror game created by YouTuber, streamer, and creative director Rafael Lange (Cellbit).
