BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA — October 31, 2024. On this Halloween day, Senscape announces that long-awaited supernatural horror adventure ASYLUM will release on March 6, 2025. This is not an April Fool’s joke, and the studio debuted a brand new trailer to prove it: https://youtu.be/xaqcGH7t4wI

ASYLUM is a first-person adventure developed by a dedicated team with a style reminiscent of 80s grindhouse films. It draws inspiration from H. P. Lovecraft’s atmospheric stories, the memorable Hammer Films gothic series, as well as twisted Euro Horror from the likes of Lucio Fulci. As players traverse the halls of the massive, decaying Hanwell Mental Institute, they will unravel a mind-bending mystery and solve puzzles taxing their wits and intuition. Featuring an estimated 15 hours of gameplay, ASYLUM is an epic love letter to adventure games and the spiritual successor to beloved cult classic Scratches.

“I need a vacation,” said director Agustín Cordes. “We need feedback”, said the rest of the team, flooding the director with countless of Jira tickets.

ASYLUM was funded on Kickstarter in one of the most successful crowdfunding campaign in Argentina. It also became the recipient of an Epic MegaGrant. Its unique approach to storytelling and presentation was put to the test in the free adventure game Serena, which surpassed 1 million downloads and received over 6000 positive reviews.

ASYLUM will launch on PC, Mac and Linux on March 6, 2025. No, really.
