Heute enthüllen KOEI TECMO Europe und Entwickler GUST Studios weitere Informationen über das brandneue Kampfsystem in ihrem mit Spannung erwarteten JRPG Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream. Der neueste Teil der beliebten Atelier-Reihe erscheint in Europa am 25. Februar 2022 für Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System und Windows PC via Steam® - Vorbestellungen sind ab heute für alle Plattformen möglich. Zur Feier der Ankündigung gibt es einen neuen Trailer mit dem Opening „Syndetos" von Suzuyu.

Zum ersten Mal in der Atelier-Serie verfügt Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream über ein Kampfsystem, in dem man ohne Ladezeiten oder separate Screens sofort in die Gefechte gegen zahlreiche fantasievolle Monster startet und Kämpfe und Erkundungen somit nahtlos ineinander übergehen. In diesem neuen Kampfsystem können sich bis zu sechs Gruppenmitglieder für Multi-Linked Turn-Based Battles zusammenschließen und zwei Teams bilden: das „Angriffsteam" an der Spitze und das „Unterstützungsteam" an der Rückseite.
Darüber hinaus können beide Teams mit Hilfe von Twin Actions gemeinsam angreifen oder ein Team führt einen Angriff aus, während das andere Team seine nächste Attacke vorbereitet.
Mit dem integrierten Fotomodus lassen sich die Lieblingsmotive im Spiel festhalten, beispielsweise die wunderschönen Umgebungen, die Gruppenmitglieder, die Bewohner von Roytale und die vielen verschiedenen Monster! Mit einer Vielzahl von Bearbeitungsfunktionen können die Spieler unvergessliche Bilder von Sophies epischer Reise erstellen.
Wer die physische Version von Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream als Erstveröffentlichung erwirbt, erhält ein spezielles Wendecover für das Spiel und ein Bonusposter mit exklusivem Artwork von NOCO. Wenn man das Spiel schon innerhalb der ersten zwei Wochen nach der Veröffentlichung kauft, winkt dazu noch das „Comfy and Casual"-Kostüm für Sophie als zeitlich begrenzter Bonus.
