SINGAPORE – 25th October 2024 - The Iterative Collective today announced that their atmospheric first-person horror puzzle game "Scarred" will launch on Steam on March 6, 2025. Set against a backdrop of twisted Singaporean architecture, "Scarred" combines psychological horror with intricate puzzle-solving mechanics to create a uniquely haunting experience.
In "Scarred," players must uncover the dark truth about a fellow schoolmate while navigating through familiar yet distorted Singaporean locations transformed into nightmarish landscapes. The game challenges players to solve frightening puzzles while evading a mysterious ghostly presence that stalks them through shadowy corridors and dimly lit doorways.
"'Scarred' represents an authentic cultural take on the psychological horror genre, drawing inspiration from Singapore's heritage and cultural background," said Matthew Quek, CEO of The Iterative Collective. "Players will experience a dream-like world where nothing is quite as it seems, and every discovery brings them closer to a shocking truth about their classmates."
