Awesome Games Done Quick returns this January, full schedule announced

Awesome Games Done Quick 2025 (AGDQ), the annual speedrunning marathon by grassroots organization Games Done Quick, returns early next year and the full schedule is now available.

Taking place during January 5-12, the event will be held in-person at the Wyndham Grand in downtown Pittsburgh, PA, as well as streamed online via the Games Done Quick Twitch channel. Registration is now open for in-person attendance.

Top speedrunners from around the globe will zip through classic and contemporary games as quickly as possible during this 24-hours-a-day event. AGDQ 2025 benefits the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to cancer prevention and early detection. Viewers can donate directly to the charity during the event on the GDQ official website. 

This year, speedrunners race against time through a bevy of popular games — some of which normally take hours to complete — in a matter of mere minutes. Crazy Taxi will even feature a live instrumental band, playing rock renditions of the game’s soundtrack during the run. The full schedule is now live, but subject to change.
