Backyard Bocce VR :

Galway, NY – November 4th, 2024 – Backyard Bocce VR LLC today is announcing the release of their multiplayer VR bocce game, Backyard Bocce VR, will be on December 2nd, 2024. After 2 years of solo development, the social VR version of a 7,000 year old game will be released globally through the Meta Quest store.

“I've played Bocce with my friends and family since we were very young. While camping, at the beach, in our backyard, and pretty much anywhere we could find enough room” Says solo developer Matt LaCerais. “The hills and speed of the ball on different surfaces just give endless possibilities for shot selection. Combined with the satisfaction of knocking your opponent's ball out of the way to land right next to the pauline for the win is just so much fun.”

Backyard Bocce VR is a multiplayer virtual reality game where you can play bocce solo or with your friends, against each other or against the AI. With the freedom to play anywhere you choose on each map you can play over rolling hills, across the beach, inside ancient roman buildings or even through a haunted graveyard. The exciting turn based competition makes for a great backdrop for conversation with friends or family.

Features of Backyard Bocce VR include:

  • 4 Unique levels – Each with enough space for multiple rounds12 Unlockable balls on each level – Search out and unlock custom ball textures
