VR puzzle shooter combines time loops and cloning to create a unique new genre-defining experience

09 FEB 2022 - Today, developer Flat Head Studio is excited to announce a free playable prologue and a brand-new name for their exciting upcoming VR puzzle shooter We Are One.
Formerly known as Help Yourself, We Are One tasks players with pushing back an encroaching industrial menace, with just their own past self for help. Ahead of its full release this year, players can try a brand-new free prologue chapter of the game for free on Steam, Oculus AppLab and SideQuest today.
In We Are One, players will find themselves thrust into a world ruled by violent machines. Seemingly doomed, in what might be her final act, Mother Nature imparts one final gift on We Are One's hero - the ability to create time loops and use their past selves to take on the previously impossible threat.
Perfect for fans of brain-wrinkling first person games like Superhot and Portal, We Are One is a genre-reinventing VR puzzle game which lets players bend physic and create time loops to clone themselves. Players must plan ahead and work strategically with these older, and hopefully wiser, past versions of themselves in order to succeed in the present.
We Are One's new free prologue chapter gives players a hands-on look at what to expect from the full game when it launches later this year. And if that wasn't enough excitement, a new trailer, released today, shows players how to be their own best teammate.
We Are One has been designed to be comfortable to play, even for players new to VR or sensitive to motion sickness. With no artificial moving, the games uses teleportation to ensure that everyone is welcome.
