Canterbury, United Kingdom - October 10th, 2024 - Indie label Omni Systems Publishing is excited to announce that the demo for Bioframe Outpost, a one of a kind metroidvania sci-fi exploration adventure with innovative photography-based mechanics and gameplay, has been released on Steam. Ahead of its launch on November 7th, 2024 on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, players can dive in and explore the intricately designed and mysterious world of Nova Aurora and learn how to interact with its sophisticated ecosystem. The demo is exclusive to Steam, giving PC gamers an early glimpse of the game’s stunning environment and original mechanics.

A new gameplay trailer, offering an in-depth look at Bioframe Outpost’s core mechanics and its mysterious ecology, can be viewed here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gzz8x1shIw .

In addition, Omni Systems is thrilled to reveal a renewal of its much-loved, Bafta nominated franchise Eufloria. Set to launch imminently on Steam, Eufloria Classic will bring back the original charms of the long-unavailable indie classic, updated for a new age with a plethora of new content and features, including extreme moddability. The release marks the return of the Eufloria genus, with more original titles currently under development.

Eufloria’s co-creator Rudolf Kremers says, “With Bioframe Outpost nearing release, we recently set up our Omni Systems Discord. It immediately became clear that alongside excitement for Bioframe, there still was a lot of love for our Eufloria games, including the out-of-circulation initial release. (which was retired about 10 years ago and replaced by "Eufloria HD")

Fans shared wonderful stories about their early experiences with Eufloria, and how much it meant to them.

One aspect of this history stood out: this very first release of Eufloria fostered a special community of players and map-makers, serving each other all those years ago. 15 years on, we feel that this is a good time to not only celebrate this history, but to reward and rekindle it by returning the original game to our portfolio, and to enhance it in a number of key ways. This new release will be a HUGE "thank you" to existing, loyal fans who bought the original many years ago.

Additionally we are supporting and encouraging new players as well as fans of later Eufloria releases to experience the (enhanced) classic style of Eufloria. Modding Eufloria - making new content and levels - will be possible again for the first time in many, many years. We will support this strongly on our Discord server, and we can't wait to see what people come up with. :-)”

ABOUT OMNI SYSTEMS PUBLISHING

Omni Systems Publishing’s philosophy harks back to a time when videogames and new technology carried a certain optimism in their DNA. Video games of that era  inherently promised something new, not experienced before, stemming from innovations in game technology and a zeitgeist that valued scientific discovery.

The most exciting developers and publishers of the time released games that felt like they hadn’t existed before. Big evolutionary steps in the medium, or even entirely new genres, with unexpected gameplay. Not reiterating of what was done before, adhering to strict genre conventions, but forging new directions.

Omni Systems Ltd. was set up to follow that same path. To function as a  laboratory in which we concoct new gameplay, new experiences, as we did with the Eufloria Universe games and will continue to do so with new games like Bioframe Outpost.

With today’s launch of Omni Systems Publishing, we are in a perfect place to bring those ideals to market, without the need to compromise on those founding principles.
