Broadcasting in Japan and Korea This Weekend

Streaming for Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and Others Will be Available in Japan Beginning April 8


TOKYO – April 5, 2024 – NEXON Co., Ltd. (Nexon) (3659.TO), a global leader in online games, today announced that Blue Archive The Animation will begin broadcasting on TV channels this weekend in Japan and Korea. The show will also be available on Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and other streaming platforms in Japan from April 8.
 

Blue Archive The Animation is adapted from Blue Archive, the popular mobile RPG developed by NEXON Games. The animation is jointly produced by Yostar Pictures, subsidiaries of Yostar Inc., a publisher of Blue Archive in Japan and China, and its partner, studio CANDYBOX. In Blue Archive, players are appointed as teachers who guide students on investigations throughout their city, Kivotos. With its unique characters and deep stories, Blue Archive has developed large followings of gamers in multiple markets, including in Japan and Korea.


In Japan, Blue Archive The Animation will debut on the TV Tokyo network from 11:45 p.m. on April 7, and will also be streamed via Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, d-anime Store, U-NEXT, ABEMA, and other streaming platforms on every Monday from 0:15 a.m. on April 8. In Korea, the show will appear on the anime channel “ANIBOX'' beginning at 00:30 a.m. on April 8th.
