10 November 2011, Singapore and Malaysia – Asiasoft Online ("Asiasoft") announces the extension of the Closed Beta Test ("CBT") for Alliance of Valiant Arms (SEA), the latest Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter ("MMOFPS") presented by PlayFPS.
Players had been very forthcoming with their valuable comments on the spectrum of the game service and content since the start of the CBT. In response to the constructive feedback received, and to provide a better gaming experience for all the players, the CBT has been extended to 23rd November 2011.
While the date for the Open Beta Test ("OBT") had been postponed till further notice, it has not diluted the enthusiasm level within the A.V.A community. In fact, anticipation is building up for the first ever A.V.A tournament at the upcoming Asiasoft All Star Battle 2011. Participants for this tournament are by invitation only, where interested teams had to send in their application of interest before they can be selected for this exclusive event.
There has been great response so far and as of this writing, 70% of the competition places available have been filled. Teams will battle it out at the Singapore qualifiers on 19th November 2011, with the finals to hold at the Asiasoft All Star Battle 2011 on 20th November at Far East Plaza Level 1 atrium. With more than $5,000 worth of prizes to be won, the battles are going to be intense.
Furthermore, the champion team from Singapore will also travel to Kuala Lumpur for the Asiasoft All Star Battle Grand Finals to pit their skills against the top three AVA teams from the Malaysian qualifiers. The stakes are high as more than RM$10,000 worth of prizes awaits the grand champion!
"We'd like to thank all the players for their constructive feedback during the CBT and their patience and support while we iron out the technical issues to improve the gameplay experience of A.V.A," said Mr Sherman Tan, Chairman of Asiasoft Online. "We are also delighted by the encouraging response for the first A.V.A invitational tournament and are looking forward to the impressive and exciting showdowns at the Asiasoft All Star Battle.
