One of the Far East's most popular MMOs comes to the West.

- Magical fantasy meets futuristic science-fiction action.

- Engage in the most epic battles ever seen in a MMO role-playing game.

RF Online, one of the most successful massively multiplayer online games in the Far East, is crossing over to the west as Codemasters announces it has secured the exclusive US and UK rights to the hugely successful title.

RF Online (c) was created by and licensed from MMO publishers CCR, Inc. of South Korea.

RF Online delivers a supremely rich gaming experience that has already attracted over 1 million players in the Far East since its launch last year.

With stunning in-game visuals and jaw-dropping character and environment detail, RF Online is an incredible next generation MMO game.

It features a unique blend of magical fantasy mixed with futuristic science-fiction action and sees players engaging in the most epic battles ever seen in a MMO role-playing game.

RF Online will launch in Q1 2006 and will be published and operated in the US and the UK by Codemasters Online Gaming, the company's recently formed online entertainment division.

Phil WhiteHead of MMO Games for Codemasters Online Gaming, commented:

"The signing of RF Online is a key achievement for Codemasters Online Group. CCR's wealth of expertise has created a hugely immersive world that has enthralled players and become one of the dominant MMOs in the Far East. We are delighted to partner with CCR and bring RF Online to the western markets."

Set in the deep space galaxy of Novus, RF Online sees you take your pick from three all-powerful warring factions and leading your character into the final battle for control over the entire Novus galaxy.

RF Online will deliver a unique approach to Player versus Player gameplay, utilising one of the most advanced combat systems of any MMO title. Full-scale battles break out daily as thousands of players engage in deadly wars - the reward of victory is high: the winning race gains control of the game world's most valuable mine and its precious resources.

Each race has its own characterisation, with skills and abilities taken from both traditional fantasy and science fiction. Players can join the Bellato Union and take control of their incredible Mech battle units, the like of which has never been seen before in any MMO game.

Alternatively, give your allegiance to the Holy Alliance Cora, a mystical and fantasy-orientated race, or sign up to the mighty Accretia Empire, a futuristic robotic race intent on pillaging resources and spreading devastation across the entire Novus sector with their advanced weapon systems.

"We are ecstatic to confirm RF Online as the first MMO project from Codemasters Online Gaming," commented Ed Relf, Head of Marketing for Codemasters Online Gaming

"RF Online is a proven and highly successful Far Eastern title that represents a new and fresh approach to the MMO genre, mixing popular elements with a vast array of exciting and unique features that will appeal to the core audience."

Codemasters Online Gaming will publish RF Online for PC in the US and the UK in Q1 2006.
