Ahmedabad, December 7, 2024: Indian indie game developer Masala Game has revealed the release date for its cosy mystery adventure game, Detective Dotson at INDIE Live Expo — the premiere games showcase for indie fans.
You’ll be able to explore the streets of India, don a host of interesting disguises, solve mysteries, and of course, pet the dog in Detective Dotson for PC via Steam from April 3, 2025.

Detective Dotson is a mystery adventure game set in a stylised rendition of modern-day India that puts players in the role of Dotson, a reluctant detective. Players can wishlist the game from the Steam store page right now. A demo for the game is out on Steam as well.

You’ll interact with a vibrant 2D meets 3D world, try out new disguises and take on new side-quests. While the demo has a slice of what to expect, the full release is a substantially bigger experience.
Developed in Unity, the game features controller support and an original OST made in collaboration with Nikhil Rao of Indian Ocean, pioneers of Indian fusion rock.
