LONDON, UK - Argonaut Games, the legendary studio founded by gaming visionary Jez San OBE and famed for introducing pioneering 3D technology to a predominantly 2D gaming landscape in the 1980s, is delighted to announce its much-anticipated remaster of the 1997 multi-million-selling hit Croc Legend of the Gobbos is coming December 2024 to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5 (Pro compatibility), PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows PCs as an exclusive on GOG. The cost of the digital version is $29.99.

However, if we need to add a little more polish, we won’t hesitate to do so. Argonaut Games is excited to announce that it has partnered with Rock It™ Games, a publisher focused exclusively on indie and retro games for both physical and digital versions, to release the physical and special Collector’s Editions of Croc Legend of the Gobbos.  Physical preorders from Rock It Games begin today for PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch, lasting until December 10, 2024. The Standard Edition retails for an MSRP of $39.99 and includes the base game and a full-color manual, while the Collector’s Edition has an MSRP of $129.99 and comes with an 8” Croc resin statue with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity, a PVC Croc keychain, an 18”x24” artwork poster, a set of Ultra3DFX™ stickers, a four-disc CD soundtrack consisting of over 100 tracks including remixes, pre-release versions, and unused tracks created for the iconic Croc score, all wrapped in premium packaging. Additionally, a beyond-cute Gobbo plush will be available for purchase from the Rock It digital storefront.

Croc Legend of the Gobbos follows the heartwarming journey of an endearing, humble little crocodile equipped with only his iconic backpack and a wiggly butt as he sets off on his quest to rescue the Gobbos from the clutches of the nefarious Baron Dante and his hordes of Dantinis. Croc must platform his way across a series of unique worlds by running, jumping, climbing, swimming, and tail spinning to save the Gobbos from captivity.
