Ontario, Canada - November 5, 2024 - Die for the Economy! is a love letter to 1980s maze-based arcade games like Berzerk and Frenzy. Armed with your trusty blaster, the P-45, make your way through the maze, blast the evil manager robots and avoid the electrified walls. The game will launch on Xbox and PC in December 2024.

This exciting arcade 'score chaser' was developed by Canadian game maker Tea Monster Games, known for Xbox titles RC Rush and Jack Dragon and the Stone of Peace, as well as the hit indie game My Nuclear Octopus. Tea Monster Games is responsible for design, development and releasing games to consoles.

Blast evil robots in a retro psychedelic maze of an office, as you bring down the security servers and make your way home. Die for the Economy! is a retro arcade survival game featuring beautiful, chunky pixel art graphics with a psychedelic slant harking back to the old 8-bit game systems.

Die for the Economy! offers three exciting game modes, each one designed to cater to a different play style: There's an 'escape the maze' game mode acting like a campaign, an 'arcade' mode that offers a random maze and faster paced endless robot blasting, and a 'classic' mode designed to feel like an original 1980s game with a slower pace.
