15/02/2024, Warsaw, Poland: indie game publisher Pineapple Works, together with Nicolas Petton, French developer of Dreamed Away, are happy to announce that the game has successfully been funded on it’s ongoing crowdfunding campaign. The game is going to be released on PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One & Series S/X in Q1 2025.

Dreamed Away shares many similarities in general tone, art direction and design with games like Earthbound, Undertale and Omori.

Dreamed Away is a pixel art indie RPG whose action takes place in France in the 90s. On a rainy summer night, Théo wakes up in his bedroom and realizes his parents and his sister Louise have disappeared. The true nature of the world lays itself bare. Ghosts and Phantoms haunt Théo inside the catacombs and other dark places where he searches for his missing sister - always a step behind and seemingly never able to catch up.

Nicolas Petton is a developer, main creator and game director from France. As a solo developer, he’s involved in every part of the development of Dreamed Away - from writing, pixel art, music, sound effects, to programming. He created Dreamed Away with the intention of conveying a profoundly personal and emotive story.
