A new competition has been announced to potentially allow gamers to get their hands on a prize of $1,000.
The premise of the competition is simple: the first person to complete all in-game achievements in Dying Light 2 Stay Human, without cheating, will be rewarded with the prize.
The concept of 'achievement hunting' is nothing new, with tens of thousands of gamers already members of achievement hunter communities around the world, but the race for a cash prize adds an exciting new element into the mix.
The race, dubbed the Trophy Race, is being organized by DiamondLobby. More information can be found, including the rules, via this link: https://diamondlobby.com/dying-light-2/trophy-race-dl2/
"We've been looking at creative ways to give back to the gaming community" said DiamondLobby's Luke Roberts. "When we came up with this idea, we immediately knew it was a winner."
"We've never been content with the status quo. We're always looking to try new things, spark discussions, push for positive change, and try to do good things in an industry we love."
The race for gamers to complete Dying Light 2 Stay Human begins after the game's official release time of 19:00 ET on Feb 3rd (00:00 GMT on Feb 4th) to prevent influencers and those with early access to the game from getting a head start.  All gameplay must be live streamed, with replays visible publicly, in order to prevent cheaters.
