Eggscape Named Extended Reality Standout Winner in 2025 Game Changers

30 October 2024 — Eggscape, the ultimate multiplayer mixed reality playground, has been named a standout winner in the Extended Reality (AR & VR) category for the 2025 Game Changers, presented by venture capital firm Lightspeed and GamesBeat. In its second year, this annual awards program celebrates the most innovative startups in the gaming and interactive media industries. Eggscape was selected as one of five standout category winners of the 25 total Game Changers, selected out of a pool of 1,300 applicants.

Created by Eggscape Entertainment, Eggscape transforms players' homes into an immersive universe where digital eggs race, battle, build new spaces, and fight for survival. Players, represented as fragile egg characters, navigate diverse game modes—creativity, exploration, racing, and battle—each offering fresh challenges in the evolving "Eggverse."

Judges included a panel of C-level executives and senior-level operators from brands like Xbox, TikTok, Unity, Amazon, ByteDance, Disney and more.
