New venture partners bring talented investors and developers together to release visionary games

Los Angeles, United States - Tuesday 15th February 2022: Having proudly announced its involvement in the development forthcoming release of open-world 2D interstellar adventure FixFox, Joystick Ventures can today lay open its wider plans to empower indie game developers worldwide.
Joystick Ventures is designed to work with talented investors and developers to build thriving studios that deliver visionary games. The result of a partnership between Nazca and Xsolla Inc., the venture leverages decades of combined venture capital and video game industry relationships and expertise.
In addition to FixFox, which is in development at Czech studio Rendlike, Joystick Ventures has also partnered with three other developers; Hungarian outfit Primal Game Studio, Spanish studio Fictiorama Studios, and Happy Juice Games, which is based in Tel Aviv.
“Like every good partnership, we want to bring what we’re good at to the aid of developers who are good at what they’re good at,” offers Ivan Carrillo, Managing Partner. “We’ve set out to identify the studios we think have a standout IP they’re working on and demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills. Our job is then to provide them with the financial investments and publishing and marketing guidance they need to successfully realize their vision.”
FixFox was unveiled to much acclaim earlier this month and stands as a wholesome sci-fi adventure game, tracking the adventures of a human-fox hybrid Vix traversing a universe powered by some eye-popping pixel-art. Also currently working with Joystick Ventures is single-player story-driven adventure game Around from Primal Game Studio, an unannounced title from Fictiorama Studios, and point-and-click adventure Lost In Play from Happy Juice.
