Lisbon, Portugal, Friday 11th - FatebearerTeam has officially announced Fatebearer, an evolving and intimate narrative card game where you have to build relationships, make difficult choices and win in battles of rock paper scissors.
A thick fog of war obscures the truth about a murder. It'll be up to you, the Fatebearer, to unmask the treacherous villain... before it's too late!
Players take on the responsibility of the Fatebearer as they explore the city of Meerar, with lots of locations, people, and events to discover. Fatebearer features a branching narrative with multiple endings where players perform actions and choices based on their feelings regarding each character and moment.
Fatebearer's combat is unlike anything the genre of traditional adventure card games has ever seen, featuring a unique, untrusting, and sometimes chaotic, system of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
The rules are simple, but your opponents are not, they will try to trick, manipulate or outright lie to you in order to get what they want.
Do trust the right people, and make the right choices.
