Blow the horn, bang the drum! The Pig is coming to town! 'Swine's Bay' extends the base Stronghold: Definitive Edition campaign with seven new missions. Under the tutelage of the wise Sergeant, players’ quest is to rescue the fabled 'Jewel of the North' from the clutches of the villainous Pig:

Hot on the trail of Sir Longarm's captured kin, players continue their heroic journey in a brand new single player campaign. Held captive by the putrid slaver Captain Hogsfoot, one of The Pig’s most notorious allies, players must safely retrieve Longarm's niece and put an end to the accursed tale of this loathsome captain. Brave daunting challenges, conquer fresh battlefields and earn the title of medieval battlemaster.

Firefly Studios intends to support Stronghold: Definitive Edition with considerable paid and free post-launch content, in the form of two major updates. The aim of each is to offer fresh missions, created by veteran devs for players who want to challenge their two decades of Stronghold experience. Taking onboard player feedback through a demo survey and reflective of the cost of the full game, each DLC will be priced at $2.99, £2.49 or €2.99.

Releasing alongside the Swine’s Bay DLC, the free Winter Update adds a second economic campaign, voiced by returning Stronghold voice actor Jay Simon. These missions are designed to test players’ strategic skills beyond the warfront, with a series of intricate resource production and management challenges. Kingdoms may be crushed by warriors, but they can only be raised by those with the vision to build.

The Swine’s Bay DLC campaign is out now on Steam for $2.99, €2.99 and £2.49. Players can also stay up to date on the latest Stronghold news at the Firefly Studios YouTube channel.
