The Netherlands – November 8th, 2024 – 2Awesome Studio and Biddum Games are thrilled to announce that Smoothcade, a charming a “clear the screen” modern-arcade game, will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox on November 14th.
Smoothcade combines platforming and puzzle-solving across 100 handcrafted levels filled with unique fruity critters and whimsical gameplay. Players can jump in solo or team up with up to four friends to capture critters using “cloudies” – special projectiles – and clear the screen. By toggling between Mercy and Mayhem cloudies, players can unlock different power-ups and earn extra rewards in the game’s karma system.
As a part of the release promotion, those who grab their copy on the first 2 weeks after launch on Nintendo Switch and XBOX, will enjoy a 12% discount. After that, Smoothcade will be sold at $7.99 on all platforms.

ABOUT THE GAME
Smoothcade is a cute yet challenging modern-arcade experience where players race against the clock to clear screens filled with fruity critters. Set in a series of colorful, puzzle-laden levels, players are tasked with finding the lost golden blender. With engaging co-op gameplay, Smoothcade offers something for everyone.
Game Modes
Story Mode: Take on 100 levels across three difficulties in search of the golden blender.
Battle Mode: Compete in a fast-paced fruit-collecting showdown for up to 4 players on procedurally generated levels.
Endless Mode: Survive as long as you can with only four lives in ever-tougher procedurally generated levels.
Speed Run: Race through a world of 10 levels against the clock.
Replay Mode: Perfect your skills by replaying levels and aiming for a 3-star rating.
KEY FEATURES
Capture & Karma System: Use “cloudies” to catch and clear critters. Jump on cloudies for a boost and switch between Mayhem and Mercy to unlock special items.
Unlockable Characters: Play as one of 16 quirky characters, each with their own unique abilities.
Unique Boss Fights & Enemies: Face off against over 26 fruity enemies and 10 challenging boss critters.
