Panic | PORTLAND, NOVEMBER 7, 2023 - The ever-busy crew at Panic are excited to announce a new Playdate Update showcase for tomorrow, November 8 at 9 AM PT! The 12 minute presentation for Playdate, Panic’s unique video game handheld system with a crank, will focus on developers showcasing their new, upcoming Playdate games for this year and 2024. There will be no new hardware information during the show.

Panic is also happy to share that they have now shipped 53,000 Playdate orders. The team is now hard at work at fulfilling their remaining orders and making Playdates more available, with even less wait time, in 2024. Earlier this year Panic also launched Catalog, an on-device and web storefront for Playdate games, and after today's store update, they will have helped developers publish almost 100 Playdate games and apps on their storefront! 

Playdate is currently available for pre-order at shop.play.date for $199.
