Istanbul, Türkiye (October 14, 2024) — The crowd roars with excitement as today, indie developer GHST Studios announces the demo launch of its intensely gratifying first-person movement shooter DIESELDOME: Oil and Blood during Steam Next Fest. A first-person bullet-hell featuring Survivors-like elements and a parkour movement system, DIESELDOME sees players creating absurdly powerful builds against hundreds of enemies at a time as they battle their way through the Dome and, ultimately, their freedom.
Inspired by high-octane titles like ULTRAKILL and the overwhelming enemy barrages of Vampire Survivors, DIESELDOME: Oil and Blood asks the burning question: What if the Roman Empire never fell and instead went on to discover petrol? The answer: the absurdly brutal RomanPunk universe, where the explosive blasts of rockets and homing Gatling gun rounds are drowned out by the cheers of the crowd and the death cries of enemies.
In the DIESELDOME, the crowd controls your destiny. A gladiator sentenced to death, you’ll tear through the pitiful grunts as waves of seasoned gladiators surge in, ready to steal the spotlight and claim ultimate victory. These bloodthirsty warriors, twisted by the Empire, will do everything in their power to outshine you, making it a brutal struggle to win the crowd's favor—or die trying.
Thanks to modern Imperial technology, your body is an unstoppable engine of flesh. Mobility is life in the Dome, and by the Emperor, you can move like a V8-powered chariot! Parkour your way to glory by wall-running, sliding, quad-jumping, and more, lest you be ground to a bloody pulp or worse—booed by the crowd.
DIESELDOME: Oil and Blood Key Features:
Become a Fan Favorite—Or Else: Killing enemies, winning bets (mini-quests), and parkour challenges will earn you the crowd’s favor, multiplying your XP and bringing other in-game bonuses.
Each Run Better than the Last: After your run is over, gain currency according to your performance and achievements. Unlock new ability trees, characters, and more in between your runs using currency.
An Eternal Tug-of-War: The Dome uses a brutal region-capturing system that rewards or punishes the player, resulting in an eternal tug-of-war between you and the multitude of enemy hordes.
Hardcore Parkour: The stone walls of the Dome were hand-crafted to be parkoured. Utilize them for wall-running, gliding, quadruple jumping, jump-slamming enemies, and more!
The new DIESELDOME: Oil and Blood demo is out now on PC via Steam.
