Glimmer Games | For Immediate Release
Sammamish, WA, Mar 23rd, 2005 - Glimmer Games (www.glimmergames.com) announced today that they have successfully launched their new action-puzzle game, Pop-A-Holic. After the successful company launch in January and the release of their two launch titles, Anime Bowling Babes and Kick Shot Pool, Glimmer Games is taking its unique brand of interactive entertainment into new genres.
Pop-A-Holic brings a number of new elements to the puzzle genre. One of the most interesting innovations is what Glimmer is calling "Frustration-Free Gameplay" which means that players can never be stuck on one level. Open-ended action and multiple solutions to every level ensure that players are always immersed in the action. Pop-A-Holic also has two distinct game modes for different types of gamers. The arcade mode challenges gamers to race against the clock in a bid to pop balloons before they take over the screen, while the puzzle mode offers a more relaxed and thought-provoking challenge. With well over two hundred levels and the same level editor Glimmer used to create all the game's levels, this is a game you're going to be playing for a long time.
As well as developing new games, Glimmer Games is also developing partnerships with promising new developers looking to bring innovative new games to market. More than just another online publisher, Glimmer is offering support and assistance during the development process in order to ensure that gamers are not denied playing exciting and original new games from developers who just need a helping hand on their way up. No release dates have yet been announced, to keep the pressure off the developers, but expect to hear an official announcement on the first release very soon.
Finally, Glimmer Games announced that their fourth game, Anime Tennis Babes, is already under development and will be released soon. Featuring an updated version of the physics and 3d engines used for Anime Bowling Babes, you can expect the very highest standards of graphics and realism. As well as the standard tennis options, Glimmer Games are promising some unique new game modes to increase longevity for solo players. It is sure to have gamers crying "New balls please!", and will be coming soon to the Glimmer Games website. Sign up for the newsletter and be the first to know when those Tennis Babes are unleashed!
