Retro-style space shooter adds a Valentine's Day mission where couples can have fun together collecting Teddy Bears, using roses as weapons!

Guntech 2 launched on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in January 2022, and has been called "The best new arcade space shooter", and "definitely one of the best" in reviews, and it won the Retro-Inspired Game of the Month award by Video Chums.
Guntech 2 features couch co-op mode where up to four players can play together. Saving the galaxy with friends is always more fun than saving it alone. The co-op mode has been designed so that experienced gamers can enjoy it together with less experienced players. Difficulty mode can be adjusted per player, so if one half of a couple is a champion player, their partner can join in using the easy mode and enjoy the game with unlimited lives and stronger shields.
"Guntech 2 has a set of seasonal levels that offer different types of challenges and variety to the gameplay. Valentine's Day is all about spending special time with loved ones, so we had this idea of creating a special over-the-board seasonal level with pink hearts and roses and teddy bears, and it turned out great!", says Jani Penttinen, lead developer.
The Valentine's Day mission is a free new level available in Guntech 2 right now.
Guntech 2 is available for Xbox now, and launching on Steam on Tuesday, February 15 (the Steam launch date was supposed to be Feb 9, but things happened and it's now happening on Tuesday!) All seasonal levels are playable through the year so even though the Steam version will miss Valentine's by one day, the new level is there to stay.
Guntech 2 is rated E for everyone and the Valentine's Day mission is fun for all ages. Here's a clip of the game's creator Jani playing Valentine's mission with his daughter Mei, 6 years old.
Guntech 2 is localized in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Finnish, French, German, Russian and Spanish.
