Honkai Impact 3rd Launching v7.8 [Planetary Rewind] on OCT 17

OCT 11, 2024 — The Honkai Impact 3rd team announces that the action title is releasing v7.8 Planetary Rewind on OCT 17! Captains will be able to fight along with Vita's battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer, as well as join in the Ten Shus War. Enjoy the new events, outfits, and bountiful rewards that await in the upcoming v7.8!

In the v7.8 update, Vita's battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer, will make its debut! Lone Planetfarer is a MECH-type Lightning DMG dealer. She uses a Drive Core that looks like a ring decorated with peacock feathers in battle. Since Lone Planetfarer has two forms, she first appears in Lone Traveler form and deals elegant attacks to enemies with the feathered loop. Captains can tap [ULT] to enter Planet Quaker form and fire laser beams at enemies using the Star Traveler. Also, Lone Planetfarer is protected by Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion. She can join a Resonance Team or a Shadow Star team. When Lone Planetfarer is the team leader and enters Stellar Outburst, she can boost the combat abilities of her teammates. Mash the special button to make the Star Traveler smash its fists down and deal a fatal blow to enemies. At the same time, Herrscher of Finality's recommended Divine Key Waxing Moon and PRI-ARM Divine Key Waxing Moon: Incipience will also be released after the v7.8 update!
 
In v7.8's main story: The First and Last War, Vita will appear again with the Star Traveler! To find leads on that mysterious person, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie travel back a hundred years to Langqiu to enter the biggest event of that time — the Ten Shus War. The main story content includes Construction? Imagination? Simulation Battle!, Persuasion, and Light Curtain Evasion. Playing the main story content grants a Weapon Option, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Seele's event stigma. The featured event Wilderness Development Logs will offer Crystals, Source Prisms, Dreamweaver's new outfit, and more.
 
After the v7.8 update, HOHO Vacation Tickets can be used to immediately claim rewards and LITE Combat will be permanently available in Elysian Realm. The celebratory event Secret Carnival: Starry Scary Night kicks off too. From OCT 11, Captains can accumulate logins to obtain Equipment Supply Card x10 and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon x1. After the version update, the first 10 drops of Lone Planetfarer's Battlesuit Supply will be free. Vita's Stigma Option, Kiana's Stigma Option, Crystals, and more can also be obtained. On top of all that, login rewards will be updated. Log in for 2,400 days to get Battlesuit Supply Cards and Equipment Supply Cards. From OCT 22, Captains can also accumulate logins to get a Battlesuit Option and Crystals or a Supply Card Option. From OCT 19, Captains can claim 10x Carnival Battlesuit Supply Card x2 for the Carnival Battlesuit Supply. The carnival spend bonuses can't be left out either. Spend Crystals in Supplies to choose from Herrscher of Finality's Character Card, Rank-Up Stamps, and other rewards like Thelema's new outfit Gentle is the Night. At the same time, a special event shop Starry Night Gifts! Season of Bonuses will be available. After completing specific events, Captains can purchase Weapons. More events and bonuses are waiting for Captains in v7.8!
 
Last but not least, the crossover between Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: Star Rail is set to begin in v7.9 on NOV 28, 2024. This crossover represents an innovative and experimental step in the Honkai series.
