Matrix Games | For Immediate Release
Staten Island, NY, Apr 19th, 2005 - Enemy Technology (www.enemytechnology.com) in association with Matrix Games (www.matrixgames.com) announced today that I of the Enemy's 100% free prequel named Ril' Cerat is ready and waiting at their website for fans and newcomers alike. I of the Enemy is a real time strategy series which focuses on tactical movement and brilliant story writing rather than collecting resources and grinding your enemies.
I of the Enemy: Ril' Cerat takes place just before I of the Enemy. The planet Ril' Cerat, outpost of the peaceful Lokob race is under attack by an unknown enemy named the Unath. Their vain attempts to seek support from a local alliance between the Y'Dray and Rag'ha have been met with little success and now the Lokob are placed in a life and death situation. Success means a chance to join the alliance and save the Lokob people... failure means the Unath forces will conquer your home world. However, is all as it seems in this political and military debacle? Or is someone pulling strings in the background...
Dive into I of the Enemy: Ril' Cerat for free. That's right, totally free, no ads, spyware, nothing except a real time strategy game to remember. With voice acting from Ian McNeice, famed for his role as Baron Harkonnen in Dune you can see how a plot with more twists than a pretzel takes its beginning.
Through an innovative gate system you will be concentrating your time on moving your troops and gaining tactical advantages instead of harvesting resources and steam-rolling your enemy. Mobility is the key, no hiding in bases, lest the artillery fire will show you why standing still may not be your best strategy. Each unit has a purpose, use them all to your advantage. Gain experience for your units and make them stronger, faster, and tougher, then take them into your next battle for extra support! A variety of mission types, such as stopping convoys, destroying bases, and delaying your enemy provide a true strategic element to a genre too often called a "click-fest."
Download the completely free I of the Enemy: Ril' Cerat from www.enemytechnology.com today. I of the Enemy, the sequel to Ril' Cerat, is available from the Enemy Technology store and will soon be available for digital download from Matrix Games as well. ABOUT ENEMY TECHNOLOGY
Enemy Technology was founded in 2004 with the goal to bring a real time strategy game to market that didn't focus all your time and attention on harvesting resources, instead allowing you to make use of real world tactical movement. The founder and CEO is an ex-marine and used his field training and experience to help design a game where mobility is your greatest tactic. The I of the Enemy series took this philosophy and brought it to life with a vivid set of characters and political intrigue.
