FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, October 22, 2005 - iGames, the world's leading game center organization, today announced an exclusive, four-month launch program for Microsoft Game Studios' Age of Empires IIITM, which will include a one-day premiere on October 22; a two-week showcase from October 24-November 6; and a 3-month ladder competition from November 9-February 1, 2006. Co-sponsored by Intel and NVIDIA/EVGA, manufacturers of today's leading graphics cards, the campaign will feature prizes provided by Intel, NVIDIA, EVGA, Alienware and Ideazon, makers of ZboardTM, the first interchangeable custom keyboard.

Age of Empires III offers gamers of all types, skillsets and ages the next level of realism, with advanced battle physics and unparalleled visual detail. The new game picks up where Age of Empires II: Age of KingsTM left off, placing gamers in the position of a European power determined to explore, colonize and conquer the New World. This time period features stunning scenes, from towering European cathedrals to spectacular combat with Industrial Age units like rifled infantry, cavalry and tall ships bristling with cannons.

The game also sets a new standard for visual quality and will amaze players with detail never before seen in an RTS game, including the concept of a "Home City," new civilizations, an immersive new single-player campaign that will span three generations, the ability to ally with the Native Americans, and fast-paced, combat-focused game play.

"Anticipation for this title has been very strong at our centers," said Mark Nielsen, Executive Director of iGames. Between the incredible popularity of the franchise and the demand to play it in the unique competitive environment that iGames offers, we are gearing up for one of our most successful launches to date."

"It's great to be working with iGames again," said Steve Beinner, Games Product Manager, Microsoft Studios. "iGames brings our products grassroots support by reaching our target audience on a community level."
