FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CALABASAS and MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, October 19, 2005 - iGames, the world's leading game center organization, and entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic today announced a twelve-week ladder competition, October-December 2005, to celebrate the release of Joint Operations: Combined ArmsTM, the largest multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) collection launched from parent games Joint Operations: Typhoon RisingTM and Joint Operations: EscalationTM, two very popular PC titles at iGames member game centers since 2004.

The ladder begins October 25, with two-weeks of pre-season matches, followed by an eight-week competition. The ladder format will be "Last squad standing," where squads go head-to-head until only one survives. Squad teams will be formed at each participating game center, and will represent a new ladder style that will be played against a regular ladder ranking system. The advantage is that teams who don't make the winning squad can continue to work their way up the ladder throughout the competition.

Ladder prizes will include t-shirts and fleeces offered by NovaLogic, as well as other high value prizes.

The largest multiplayer FPS collection ever compiled, Joint Operations: Combined Arms allows up to 150 players to meet online via NovaLogic's online world NovaWorld, or up to 64 players in other online or LAN games. Other key game features include special multiplayer maps including an abandoned strip mine, waterfall ruins, and a chemical weapons factory; more than 40 different weapons; and 35 improved war machines including Black Hawks and Little Birds that can strike from air as well as deliver troops to the battle field, and the LCAC hover craft to conduct lethal amphibious assaults.

The iGames campaign for Joint Operations: Combined Arms will also feature a showcase at iGames member game centers between October 10 and October 23, 2005. This event allows gamers to experience the game with one hour of free play at their local game center any time during the two-week promotion.

"We're excited to bring a fantastic franchise to the iGames LAN cafes. Large scale warfare with frenzied gamers is the perfect match," said Dave Pollack, NovaLogic's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

"We're proud to have been a part of the enduring popularity of these franchises," said Mark Nielsen, Executive Director of iGames. "We also know that fans of both series will enjoy the event format, which will set a new standard for our ladder campaigns."
