MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, September 6, 2005-iGames, the world's leading game center organization, today announced the business seminar schedule for its annual iGames Expo, held in New York City, at the historic Hammerstein Ballroom, September 8-10.

While North America's top gamers compete in the US Finals of World Cyber Games, whose Grand Championship will be held in Singapore in November, the iGames center owners who organized all the preliminary tournaments for the competition will be conducting a broad range of business development sessions for the duration of the show.

Topics of the seminars will include financial planning, running successful events, local media and advertising promotion, and educational opportunities for the game center industry. The festivities will begin with a special lunchtime reception on Thursday, September 8, and will be followed by the seminars and broad range of social activities, including a Broadway show and cocktail party, that allow game center owners to network in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

"Our goal for iGames Expo is knowledge-sharing among game center owners," said Mark Nielsen, Executive Director of iGames. "But it's also a way of recognizing all their hard work over the past year. Thanks to them, iGames not only expanded beyond even our most optimistic expectations, but also helped launch today's hottest games, such as Battlefield 2, Empire Earth II and Madden NFL 06."

In addition, iGames has recently unveiled "Intel's Seasons of Extreme," a 3-month, 10-city tour, to showcase the next generation of PC gaming with Intel's first dual-core processor, and was the force behind blind gamer Brice Mellen's amazing trail of publicity, which began at member center DogTags Gaming, in Lincoln, Nebraska, and blazed all the way to the Today Show and G4's "Attack of the Show."

Non-iGames center owners are also invited to attend iGames Expo, as are potential iGames business partners and entrepreneurs who have been considering opening their own centers, but would like to find out how iGames can help them achieve their goal.
