FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, November 08, 2005 - iGames, the world's leading game center organization, today announced a slate of upcoming special events scheduled to run in conjunction with the recent launch of Activision's (Nasdaq: ATVI) and Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to 2003's Game of the Year, which is in stores now.

Co-sponsored by Intel, NVIDIA and EVGA and with prizes provided by Ideazon, the battles commence with a two-month ladder competition beginning on November 16 and running through January 17, 2006. In addition, the special iGames launch campaign featured an exclusive one-day premier that took place on October 28 and a showcase which ends on November 13.

As with all iGames special events, participation is free and players taking part in the ladder competition will face off against fellow fraggers at iGames member centers across North America.

Prizes include the latest and greatest Intel processors, NVIDIA/EVGA graphics cards, and custom, interchangeable ZboardTM keyboards from Ideazon. In addition, there will be free T-shirts and other cool merchandise for all attendees.

"Call of Duty has been one of the most popular franchises at our centers since its debut in 2003," said Mark Nielsen, Executive Director of iGames. "With the arrival of Infinity Ward's long-awaited sequel, game center owners and players will gain exclusive access to this epic and intense title that perfectly fits the healthy, competitive social environment that iGames member centers offer."

Developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty 2 returns with more cinematic intensity and chaos than ever before, delivering explosive action with bigger battles, more weapons, more troops and unprecedented special effects set in a wide range of locations and environments. Players find themselves thrown squarely into the chaos of WWII's most epic battles through Russian, British and American campaigns. Powered by Infinity Ward's proprietary new engine, Call of Duty 2 delivers life-like authenticity, amazing special effects, advanced A.I. technology, the most realistic squad combat and explosive action.

Call of Duty 2 is rated "T" (TEEN - blood, mild language and violence) by the ESRB and carries a MSRP of $49.99. For more information on Call of Duty 2, visit www.callofduty.com.
