Zoo Digital | Alien Hominid was the big winner at last night's seventh Annual Independent games festival In San Francisco. The already critically acclaimed title won three of the 6 prestigious IGF awards. The awards won were for Innovation In Visual Arts, Technical Excellence, and an Audience award.
With the title scheduled for a European release on XboxTM and Playstation 2TM on May 27 2005, the awards further underline Alien Hominid as one of the biggest titles to be released in 2005.
Alien Hominid is a fast-paced 2D side scroller where players must run, jump and shoot their way across the globe in pursuit of the alien's coveted UFO. The artwork is completely hand-drawn and hand-animated. The game comes complete 16 levels, complete with mini-bosses and main-bosses.
