Indie Cup :
November 2, 2023 – Kyiv, Ukraine – Indie Cup, an online festival of upcoming indie games, announces the best submissions of Indie Cup Canada’23, as selected by the festival jury and sponsors.
This year, the awards are led by Chasing the Unseen, an adventure game that takes inspiration from both Shadow of the Colossus and Journey, and Worship, a monochrome multiplayer roguelike where players perform blood rituals to serve an eldritch god. Both games scored nominations in three different categories.
The full list of nominees is now available on the festival website, complete with descriptions and trailers for each nominated game.
The winners of Indie Cup Canada’23 awards will be announced on November 22, 2023.

Indie Cup features:
Developer Awards. Indie Cup Canada’23 features four categories in the juried competition: Most Anticipated Game Award, Most Promising Game Award, Rising Star Award and Critics' Choice Award. Participating projects are evaluated by a panel of industry experts over two voting rounds, with the winners set to receive awards and prizes from the festival partners.
Festival Jury. Indie Cup Canada’23 independent jury panel features a range of experts from diverse backgrounds, representing both local and global developer community.
Publisher Intros. During the festival, publishers and potential investors look at participating games to discover promising titles and emerging developers. After the festival is over, the best entries receive an introduction or letter from our partners.
Special Sales. The most memorable games that enter Indie Cup Canada’23 will also get an opportunity to be featured in next year’s Indie Cup Celebration sale on Steam, as well as Indie Cup events on other storefronts.

Since 2016, Indie Cup has been hosting an online festival of unreleased indie games, becoming one of Europe’s leading online events for independent developers. To date, Indie Cup has featured more than 2,300 projects, including dozens of titles that went on to achieve critical and popular acclaim.
