FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Los Angeles, California - August 25th, 2005 - Inon Zur, an internationally acclaimed music composer for film, television and videogames, provides the original musical score for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War - Winter Assault, the expansion pack to THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) and Relic Entertainment's real-time strategy hit Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of WarTM. Zur has composed music for well-known game titles such as Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (cinematics), Starcraft: Ghost (cinematics) and Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest. His film/TV credits include Power Rangers, Escaflowne and Digimon, and his powerful orchestral scores are featured in promotional trailers for Hollywood movies such as Fantastic Four and The New World. Zur's music can also be heard in the television series Into The West from Executive Producer Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks Television.

Jonathan Dowdeswel, Relic Entertainment's producer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, said, "Coming off of Dawn of War, we realized that we had underutilized the effectiveness of music to enhance the user experience in the game. For Winter Assault we wanted to strive for a much tighter connection between action, music, and story. We decided to work with Inon Zur and focus all of the music composition to relate directly to the Single Player campaigns. Each mission would have its own theme and mood. Inon did a great job of establishing those themes."

Featuring a deeper single player experience and even more intense Dawn of War action, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Winter Assault will also include a brand new, fifth race - The Imperial Guard. Based on the world of Warhammer 40,000 - the dark, futuristic, fantasy universe from Games Workshop, the game is scheduled to release in fall 2005. For more information visit www.dawnofwargame.com.

Dowdeswell added, "On top of all that, Inon offered to spend some time in our studio discussing exact music placement in our missions with our Lead Designer, which took the musical experience up another notch. It has been a fantastic working relationship. We're really happy with the results, and look forward to working together in the future."

Inon Zur brings his extensive experience, composing and producing award-winning dramatic music for film, television and videogames. Always drawn to a fresh challenge, Zur applies his film and television scoring background and symphony skill set to the new frontiers of CGI movies and cinematic videogame soundtracks. Earlier this year, Zur's main theme for Men of Valor was awarded Best Original Instrumental Song by the Game Audio Network Guild during the 2005 Game Developers Conference. He is currently composing for Prince of Persia 3. Zur is managed by Bob Rice of Four Bars Intertainment. For more information visit www.inonzur.com.
