Open a booster pack from Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket on a giant digital screen and take part in other exciting Pokémon activities

London — 23 October 2024 — Today, The Pokémon Company International announced a free-of-charge, interactive pop-up experience taking place at Outernet London 9–10 November 2024. Trainers can take part in immersive Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket pack openings, take photos with Captain Pikachu and enjoy other Pokémon-related activities.
During the event, Trainers can open a booster pack of Genetic Apex from Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket on the giant digital screens in the Now Trending space. Lucky Trainers who manage to find an immersive card in their booster pack can watch the thrilling animations unfold in front of them on a grand scale. Genetic Apex is the first expansion available in the upcoming app Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, available starting 30 October on iOS and Android devices.
1 Captain Pikachu from Pokémon Horizons: The Series will appear regularly throughout the event in the
Now Pop 2 area. Trainers can pose for photos with Captain Pikachu in front of a Pokémon Horizons: The Series digital backdrop and have their photo displayed on the digital wall. Additionally, Trainers can have hands-on experiences with Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Legends: Arceus on
Nintendo Switch consoles.
Those who visit Outernet London during the event period will also be able to find exclusive PokéStops
around the event space in Pokémon GO, as well as Timed Research. Trainers can also experience the
new trailer for Gigantamax and its epic score created by Emmy Award–winning composer Ramin
Djawadi in the Now Pop 2 area.
The event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, 9 November, and from 11:15
a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, 10 November.
A hidden, 4 Diamond rarity Pikachu ex card can also be found in the digital experience event space. Find it and either take a photo or show the card to a staff member to receive a code you can redeem to
obtain a Sitting Pikachu Poké Plush with an eligible purchase 2 from PokemonCenter.co.uk, the premier
online destination for official Pokémon merchandise. Only 2,000 codes will be made available.
