Introducing Cult of the North and Project Gundalf

Hello friends! We have some exciting news to share. We are a collection of Swedish gaming veterans dedicated to creating the next generation of intense, action-packed multiplayer experiences for PC and console. We aim to build multiplayer games that bond players through adversity and challenges to create fantastic gaming memories.
 
We are busy creating our first game code named Project Gundalf. Using Unreal Engine 5, it is an ambitious and massive next-generation PvP game pitting players against each other. Build a huge kingdom, forge lifelong friendships, and battle the gods of Hamarvast. When we started this journey, you may have known us as Seidr, our business name. But as we started developing our vision and identity as a studio and our Project Gundalf, we knew we needed a name that captured the essence of who we are and what we do, reflecting our passion, inspiration, and ambition.
 
That's why we proudly announce that from now on, we are **Cult of the North**.
 
Why Cult of the North? Well, for starters, we are based in Sweden, a beautiful Nordic country with a rich history and culture. Our creativity is inspired by our ancestors' myths, legends, and folklore and our homeland's stunning landscapes and wildlife. That Nordic spirit and flavor bleeds into our games and our studio.  
 
Our studio is a family of creatives and gamers who share a common passion and purpose. And we want you to be part of it. We are looking for developers who live and breathe Unreal Engine. Our logo, aptly named the Skull of Odin, showcases our Nordic flavor. At its heart is the skull of Odin, king of the Viking gods. The skull fractures one eye and its crown, representing Odin's self-inflicted wound and his eternal wisdom gained through sacrifice. This striking depiction captures the essence of Viking mythology and showcases our commitment to storytelling and immersive gaming experiences. 
 
The skull also features intricate designs reminiscent of ancient Viking engravings, with natural-looking shapes like vines and intersecting strokes. These elements pay tribute to the rich artistic tradition of Viking knotwork and its depiction of nature's forms. Adding to the authenticity, the logo's lettering draws inspiration from the Nordic "futhark" runes, further emphasizing the company's dedication to capturing the essence of Nordic culture. 
 
We are excited to share our name and emblem and invite you to join us on an epic gaming journey. To us, Cult of the North embodies our spirit of adventure, strength, and ambitious spirit.
