Málaga, November 4, 2024 – Camper Van: Make it Home, the eagerly awaited video game inviting players to embark on a design-driven journey of personal discovery on wheels, has announced a special collaboration with Juanma Latorre, guitarist and composer of the renowned band Vetusta Morla, who will compose the game’s official soundtrack. This collaboration will be unveiled for the first time during the Save & Sound event, taking place from November 4 to 7, through a demo update on Steam and the release of a new video.

The Camper Van: Make it Home project offers a relaxed, creative experience focused on van customization. In this game, players can personalize their own home on wheels, crafting a unique space that reflects their tastes and personality as they embark on a journey of self-discovery. Inspired by block organization and interior design, the game encourages decorating and arranging every corner of the van to truly make it their own. As players build their space, they gradually uncover the story that led the protagonist to begin this journey.

Camper Van: Make it Home now sounds different

Juanma Latorre joined the project after meeting the studio’s team through a mutual friend, Arturo Monedero, with whom he had collaborated previously. The concept of Camper Van: Make it Home resonated with him because of the game’s values of connection with nature and self-discovery. “It’s a special project that combines an outward journey with an inward one; an adventure that allows you to reconnect, connect with nature, and experience the freedom of exploring in a camper van,” Latorre commented about the collaboration. For him, the opportunity to contribute a soundtrack that captures this essence was a unique chance to add an emotional layer to the game.

Latorre's participation in the Save & Sound event marks the beginning of this musical collaboration, with a presentation showcasing some of the melodies he has composed especially for the game. According to the development team, the soundtrack aims to capture the calm, creativity, and sense of belonging that characterize the experience of van customization and living within it.
The release date for Camper Van: Make it Home has yet to be announced, but anticipation is growing among fans of both video games and music. The collaboration with Latorre promises to bring a unique emotional dimension to this creative and exploratory adventure, and the soundtrack’s debut at Save & Sound is expected to be one of the event’s highlights.

About Camper Van: Make it Home

In Camper Van: Make it Home players will be able to camperize their own van and will embark on a journey of personal discovery while creating a space as creative as it is useful for organizing all their belongings.

The game allows gamers to delve into the story of its protagonist, who leaves behind her comfortable and monotonous life to dare to explore a more nomadic, natural and environmentally aware one. This title invites us to discover the experiences the main character goes through on each trip thanks to the objects she carries with her, the ones she collects, the ones that undergo changes, and the ones she leaves behind.
The journey starts with a totally empty van in a charming destination. In the process of camperizing, it will be possible to add as much furniture as space allows. Once furnished, the goal will be to store and sort all the traveler's belongings, which will be available in a pack list. Not only is it possible to decorate the space inside the van, but also the exterior is customizable.

Once the process of camperizing and organizing is finished, it will be the time to move on to the next journey. What will be the destination?
