Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, confirms today that Just Cause will be published on Xbox 360TM, the next-generation video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, to add to the existing PC, Xbox and PS2 versions and will be released in autumn 2006.

An undercover agent is sent in to overthrow a corrupt government on an idyllic tropical island, by using whatever means necessary. As you parachute down through the clouds, high above the islands of San Esperito and admire the archipelago view, begins.

Pushing the capabilities of any console, Just Cause is set on an unprecedented scale in terms of missions and size. The massive world will take the average gamer over 40 minutes to cross, from one end of the island to the other, and that's without being distracted by one of the 300+ missions you could choose to accept along the way.

Christofer Sundberg, Founder and Creative Director of Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios said, "We are proud that Just Cause will be available on Xbox 360 as well as current generation platforms. Our aim has always been to deliver a next-gen experience and with the power of Xbox 360 you are going to see something really special."

Just Cause will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC from autumn 2006.
