In this role, Mr. Garner will oversee in-house and third-party development and production content in the Kayak European operations.

Since entering the mobile game industry in 2000, Mr. Garner has brought to market more than 100 titles across all mobile technologies. Prior to joining Kayak/Synergenix, Mr. Garner served as vice president of production and head of studios for mFORMA and was responsible for popular games such as Universal Monsters Dracula, Call of Duty and Vir2L Studios’ Ducati Extreme. Before that, Mr. Garner oversaw development at nGame with game credits including Gadgies and Renstrom's Horoscopes.

“We are thrilled to bring Nic onboard to drive our development and production in Europe,” said Keith McCurdy, president and CEO of Kayak Interactive. “Our team in Europe has achieved great success in the rapidly moving mobile games sector and we know that Nic’s contributions will further position the company to bring to market even stronger, more innovative and popular mobile games in 2006 and beyond.”

“Kayak has shown over the past few years that it truly understands the mobile gaming market,” says Mr. Garner. “The company has published some exceptional games, both licensed and original, as well as launching some very exciting new services with a number of operators. The mobile games market is only going to get bigger and more interesting in the next few years and I am very much looking forward to working with such a highly regarded company as the segment continues to explode.”

“Nic is not only one of the most experienced people within the mobile gaming sector, but also possesses the rare trait of being both very structured and organized, and still passionately creative about game design, says Martin Forsling, general manager, Europe and Asia for Kayak Interactive and Synergenix. “We are working in some very interesting new areas of mobile gaming and entertainment both internally and with a number of leading development studios. Bringing Nic on board gives the company the skills and resources necessary to ensure our output remains of the highest quality and that new titles, products and services are brought to market on time and on budget.”
