Granada, Spain; July 7, 2016 — Wild Sphere is running a campaign on Kickstarter to develop their new platform and adventure game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. The Kickstarter campaign will be running until July 30, 2016 14:04 CEST
Timothy vs the Aliens is a 3D adventure and platform video game where you will play the role of a gangster named Timothy, who lives in a black & white period and fights against the full-colored aliens that have invaded his city.
The aliens have come to Earth looking for any living thing to eat and they are terrorizing the city. This situation could endanger Timothy’s reputation and position — if the aliens gain control of the city, he will lose everything he has achieved after many years of hard work. So he decides to take things into his own hands and defend his title of King of the City. It will eventually turn out he is the only one who can defeat the aliens.
The game will be divided into open world areas, where there will be many items, secrets and secondary quests, in addition to the main quests of the game. One of the important features of the open world areas is that everything will be full of obstacles, so going through them will be like playing a platform level too. In the game there will also be quests within the alien spaceships, where everything will be in color, except Timothy and the objects from Earth.
Timothy vs the Aliens wants to motivate a game genre with high demand but very few titles: the 3D platform games. The success of titles like Ratchet & Clank proves this genre is demanded and people love playing platformers like the ones they played in the 90s, but with a more adult subject matter.
“Timothy vs the Aliens is the game we’ve always wanted to make. It brings back the emotions and features of the classic video games we loved to a game with the graphics and gameplay today”, said Michael D., co-founder of Wild Sphere.
The Kickstarter campaign includes a playable prototype of the game. It’s a 5-minute demo where you can control Timothy in his neighbourhood and fight against some aliens. There’s also a campaign running on Greenlight.

About Wild Sphere
Wild Sphere is an independent game developer. The team is made up of two dedicated professionals that love making video games: Michael D. and Irene Guardiola. They created Wild Sphere in 2014 and since then they have developed and launched Naught Reawakening for PC and iOS (Editor’s Choice), and Ninpoop and H-Spaceship for iOS. But they are not new in the field, as they have been working on video games and interactive software for 10 years, and they have worked on 11 published video games. They were half of the team of the disappeared studio Blue Shadow Games, where they worked on the development of Naught, Naught 2, Non-Flying Soldiers (published for PC and for iOS by Chillingo) and three more titles for iOS, which together achieved several million downloads.
