About KBF TEAM

KBF Team consists of five French students who are big fans of TowerFall and wanted to create a game inspired by it, but with its own unique style. The team was composed of:

  • Martin Coudrin is the creative mind who designed the game mechanics, levels and quests with the aim of making the game as fun and diverse as possible.

  • Regarding artistic direction, Helene Malherbe, our 3D artist, took care of all the game's visual design, from menus to levels to characters. Meanwhile, Etienne Coemelck was in charge of all the sound design, from SFX to music composition . Both of them worked hard to give the feeling of playing goofy squires fighting in the middle of a warm and crowded tavern.

  • Jacques Clery, our programmer, was the wizard who coded the whole game on Unity, while also taking part in project management.

  • Finally our UX designer, Oscar Juteau, was mainly responsible for playtesting, UX design and project management. His role was to ensure that the game met the needs of our players.

We were also helped by other students and friends with debugging, playtesting, translating and composing the music. A big shout out to them.
