Tuesday, January 31 ---Austin, Texas---Mary-Margaret.com, a leader in international recruitment services for the interactive entertainment industry, announces today their participation in The Animex International Festival of Animation and Computer Games 2006 at the University of Teesside in North East England. This year's conference is scheduled from Monday, February 6 to Friday, February 10.

Now in its seventh year, the Animex festivals brings together animators, designers, directors, writers, artists and students to explore the latest developments in animation and the gaming industry, showcasing talent and providing visitors with an opportunity to share skills and knowledge.

Leading game industry recruiting firm Mary-Margaret.com is conducting a career panel called "Break Into The Industry" on Tuesday, February 7. Mary Margaret Walker, founder and CEO of Mary-Margaret.com, will lead a discussion of CVs, interview tips, presenting your demo, and other hot games hiring topics. Walker will be joined by Richard "Levelord" Gray, president of Ritual Entertainment in Dallas, Texas, as well as Kaye Elling (Blitz Games), Dean Wilson (Rare Ltd.) and Ken Wong (Enlight Software).

Highlights of the 2006 festival will be Animex Game (a festival looking at computer games design), Animex Talk (a festival looking at the biggest and brightest talent in animation) and Animex Screen, which will showcase some of the best new work from the UK animation scene. Other attractions include game developer Eutechnyx discussing the latest art techniques for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, Blitz Games outlining their latest projects and prolific fantasy artist Rodney Matthews discussing his concept art for games including Shadow Master and Haven.

The Animex International Festival of Animation & Computer Games is being held at the School of Computing at the University of Teesside in Middlesbrough, Tees Valley. The full Animex Pass for February 6 though 10 is £150, and £70 for students and the unwaged. Passes at lower rates for individual event at Animex are also available.
