Video Gamers League | Orlando, FL - April 7, 2005 - Lee® Jeans is bringing their style to video gamers throughout the U.S., via their sponsorship of the National VGL Video Gaming Tournament. Lee® will be outfitting the weekly winners of each market tournament beginning this weekend.
Lee® has signed on as an official sponsor for the first tournament season, which runs through July 30, 2005. Janet Catinna, Vice President of Turn-Key Marketing Services, Inc. in Orlando developed and brokered the sponsorship.
"Lee® Jeans wanted to reward our gamers for their skill in this sport", said Catinna. Lee® is awarding 385 prize certificates with values between $25.00 and $300.00.

The national tournament, which is made up of two tournament seasons, is produced and managed by the Video Gamers League (VGL) of Dallas, TX and Turn-Key Marketing Services, Inc. of Orlando, FL. Scion dealerships throughout the country will host 112 qualifying tournaments each season. Following the local tournaments, winners will advance to regional tournaments taking place in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, San Francisco, and Chicago. Each season, winners of the regional tournaments will advance to the national championships to compete for cash and prizes, including certificates for Lee® Wear, with the national champions winning cash and a 2005 Scion xB.
Launched in 1999 by Jeff Gross, Video Gamers League (VGL) was the first organization to advance console gaming competitions to the level of a professional sport.
