SALT LAKE CITY, UT - The Student International Game Developers Association at the University of Utah is pleased to present Luke Timmins, Programmer on Halo 2 at Bungie Studios. This event is free and is open to the public. The lecture will take place on April 21, 2005 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the University of Utah, Engineering Mines Classroom Building (EMCB) in room 104.

In 2001, Luke Timmins joined Bungie Studios, the developers of Halo and Halo 2 as a tester and test tools developer for Halo 1 and currently is the multiplayer network programmer for Halo 2.

Halo 2, has sold 6.4 million copies worldwide and was a large contributor to the $9.9 billion in game sales this year. The number launched the Bungie developed title to the top of the Xbox best-seller list, passing the previous champ: the original Halo. Halo 2 burned up the sales charts and logged more than 1.5 million preorders before its release November 9. The franchise has sold an impressive 12.8 million units.
