1C Company, announced today the release of the next international game for the iPhone® and the iPad® starring Luntik. Luntik Counts to Ten is an App designed by child development experts to stimulate young minds and teach them essential problem solving skills and math.
Luntik is a Russian animated series for preschool aged children. It is the story of a small fluffy creature, Luntik, who was born on the Moon and fell from it, onto the Earth. Luntik is new to the Earth and in each episode learns something about this world. The premiere took place on September, 1st, 2006 in Russia and it has quickly become one of their top rated children’s shows, even airing during primetime.
1C, working with the producers of the cartoon, has created a series of Apps to help children learn through play. These new educational games for the Apple® iOS platforms have fun and learning built-in with the help of professional child development experts. In Luntik Counts to Ten, Luntik and his friends Grasshopper Skip, Rudy Rootson and two troublemaking caterpillars Pillar and Paller will offer children entertaining lessons to teach them about counting and numbers.
Most importantly if a child can’t figure out a problem, the characters will give them an easier one to help them learn without feeling frustrated. Easy controls and a friendly voice will help kids to quickly familiarize themselves with the game world and complete lessons independently, cultivating a sense of accomplishment.
