GAMES CONVENTION/LEIPZIG, GERMANY , August 12, 2005 - Following on the heels of Macrovision Corporation's (Nasdaq: MVSN) acquisition of Trymedia Systems and launch of the Trymedia business unit devoted exclusively to games, the newly combined companies today announced the launch of a fully customizable storefront catered specifically to German game audiences. The flexible German storefront is an integrated product combining the best of Bluefish Media (www.bluefish-media.com) and Macrovision's technologies. AOL Germany is already using the new storefront in its game offering launched earlier this month. In addition, game sites www.4players.de and www.BigFishGames.de join the world's largest digital distribution network for games using their own versions of Macrovision's flexible German storefront.

"We want to give our portal customers the greatest possible flexibility when it comes to building online game areas," said Todd Basche, GM of Macrovision's Trymedia business unit. "Through localized content, German gamers get the games they want, in a language they know and have the option to pay by the methods they use most. We are fully committed to Europe and will continue to announce exciting new partners over the next several weeks."

Macrovision's Trymedia group provides its e-commerce business customers with downloadable games content from a catalog of more than 1200 PC games. End-users can then download PC games in a try-before-you-buy format. Trymedia's technology solutions allow consumers to play games on multiple computers, backup and even share games with friends (shared content reverts to full trial mode).

Bluefish Media is the distributor for Macrovison's Trymedia game catalog in German-speaking countries and has a primary role in local operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. "The strength of Macrovision's DRM and related systems combined with our front end and content delivery make the most powerful solution for German online game stores," said Cyrus Kargar, GM at Bluefish Media.

The German storefront is a full-featured commerce system with extensive flexibility to support merchandising, marketing and payment processing functions that are prevalent in Germany including ELV direct debit and FirstGate Click& Buy, as well as international credit cards like JCB and Diners Card. Features of the storefront include a full-fledged shopping cart, storefront and shopping cart design templates, customized 'best seller' lists, new product areas, the ability to offer vouchers or coupons, the ability to serve custom ad banners and much more.

Trymedia already offers language interfaces in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish and Italian and supports multiple payment currencies. The company plans to expand with localized storefront versions throughout Europe later this fall.
