After their hit free demo Maestro: The Masterclass received thunderous applause and went viral on TikTok with millions of views and demand for an encore, development team Double Jack and VR label Creature (Starship Home, THRASHER, Laser Dance) today announced the full-length game will be released for Quest 2, 3, 3S (making use of the improved hand tracking) & Pro [Store Page] on October 17th and SteamVR [Store Page] on October 22nd.

Hoping to follow VR rhythm headliners like Beat Saber and Trombone Champ, Maestro is a VR rhythm conducting game that transports the player to the Paris Classical Orchestra scene.

About the Game

Maestro VR is an immersive rhythmic music game that puts you on the podium as a star orchestra conductor! Using your own two hands and a giant orchestra of expert musicians, you’ll bring to life a vast array of orchestral pieces – classical, jazz, techno, hip-hop and beyond.

‘Developer’ Quote:

“Why have I created Maestro, you ask? Well, surely you never ordered a 120-strong choir to unleash the heavens with a tip of the wrist. Or effortlessly pinched to a halt the thunderous roar of every string, wind and percussion in a perfect unison. Or pleased a French crowd.

That, my friend, is why I created Maestro. Write it down. WRITE THAT DOWN I SAID”

  • Eric de Roch, CEO of Culture.

Learn the skills of a real-life conductor, keeping the tempo, cueing musicians, and guiding crescendos to an epic musical finale. You’ll also unlock new costumes, batons and decors, titles and trophies that’ll pace your rise as a true Person of Culture / true Maestro!

Features:

  • Be the Maestro: Learn to expertly conduct a gigantic orchestra in VR, using your hands to follow the tempo dynamics and give cues to the musicians.

  • Infinite variety: Play your own custom music in creative mode, or move your hands to the music in casual mode.

  • Play your way: Adjust the difficulty for a calmer (or harder!) experience.

  • Sharpen your baton: Progress your skills as you play, unlocking new cosmetics, titles and trophies that’ll help hone your conducting skills.

  • Not just classical: Play music of different eras and genres from around the world!
