London, United Kingdom — Oct. 18, 2024 — Today, The Pokémon Company International announced the latest updates to the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME, including the new Pokémon Guidebook feature and the opportunity to earn a Shiny Meloetta.
New Pokémon Guidebook Feature – Starting with the version 3.2.2. update, Trainers will be able to access the Pokémon Guidebook, where they can view basic information about Pokémon such as their Pokédex entries, types, sizes, forms, and more.
This information is available even if that Pokémon hasn’t been registered in your National Pokédex in Pokémon HOME. You can also discover in which games that Pokémon can be encountered, which will help you complete your Pokédex.
Shiny Meloetta Arrives in Pokémon HOME – Special Pokémon can now be awarded to players as Mystery Gifts for completing specific Pokédexes. The first games to use this feature are Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet (sold separately). Trainers who complete their Paldea Pokédex, Kitakami Pokédex, and Blueberry Pokédex from those games can receive a Shiny Meloetta in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME.
To receive this Pokémon, Trainers must complete each of the above Pokédexes in the mobile device version of Pokémon HOME, then confirm their completion in the Games tab. If the player has already completed each Pokédex, they will still be eligible to receive the Shiny Meloetta. Be aware that to receive Mystery Gifts, the player must have a linked Nintendo Account, and each Mystery Gift can be received only once per Nintendo Account.
