Ascaron have today announced that they have acquired the exclusive UK sales and marketing rights for an exciting new series of titles in the "93 Games" range from FHI, the leading French Publishers, in 2006.

Ascaron will be representing FHI for Sales and Marketing in the UK in 2006, starting with the acclaimed Virtual Skipper 4 title, which already looks to be a great success with the UK Games and sailing Press.

Roger Swindells, UK Managing Director for Ascaron said:

'We are immensely pleased to have the opportunity to work with FHI on their forthcoming titles and believe that the quality of their products will speak for themselves. It's great to have such an interesting and diverse portfolio to work with and we feel confident that the previous success of earlier versions of such products as Virtual Skipper bode well for our successful partnership.'

In particular we are excited by the quality of code and presentations made by FHI of two titles scheduled for later in 2006:

  • "Runaway The Dream of the Turtle" which shows all the ingredients of being a most entertaining and rewarding adventure title. Response to the first trailer for Runaway has been excellent.

  • FHI's sequel to Sherlock Holmes: Sherlock Holmes - "The Case of the Silver Earring" which has all the indicators for being a fascinating and fast paced game that will excite and thrill the gamer

Cedric Lagarrigue, Chief Operating Officer for FHI added, "We were convinced by the unique expertise of Ascaron on the UK market and their excellent comprehension of our games and their positioning. These parameters are very important if you consider the great potential of titles they will distribute, the challenge we set them. Runaway, The dream of the Turtle is the sequel of an adventure game that has sold over 500000 units all over Europe. Since this game has never been released in the UK, we truly believe that Ascaron will successfully bring to the market this superb adventure game and its fun characters."
